Delicious Summer Pesto Recipe

Delicious summer pesto recipe

Pesto can be made from a variety of greens and these are so readily available in the Summer.

Ingredients

  • 100g Kale (with stalks removed), Basil, Carrot Tops, Parsley or Wild Rocket
  • 150ml Olive Oil
  • 75g Unpasteurised Hard Goats Cheese, Ewe’s Cheese or Parmesan Cheese
    (optional – if not using, then add additional garlic and lemon juice to compensate)
  • 50g Mixed Nuts chopped finely in a Food Processor in advance
  • 1 Small Garlic Clove, crushed
  • Pinch of Celtic Sea Salt
  • Squeeze of Lemon Juice

Medley Of Greens Soup

Green Soup Recipe from Nutritional Therapist Fiona Corliss

Serves 3

Ingredients

  • 1 carton of organic cannelini beans
  • 1 x handful of coriander leaf
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • coconut butter for frying
  • half a broccoli head in florets
  • 2 small leeks
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • half tsp of cumin
  • water to dilute as required
  • 1 bag of organic watercress, rocket or spinach

500g Whole Buckwheat Groats

1 cup filtered water plus more for soaking

Half tsp Celtic Sea Salt or equivalent unprocessed sea salt

Recipe for Christmas Muffins

These are delicious and best eaten on the day they are cooked. Alternatively, they can be frozen for future use.

(Makes 12 muffins)

  • Two cups of Ground Almonds
  • Half a cup of Tapioca Flour
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • Three Quarters of a cup of Coconut Milk
  • One third of a cup of Olive Oil
  • One large egg
  • 1 cup of Organic Sugar Free Mincemeat
  • 1 small Sweet Apple chopped with skin on
  • Optional: a handful of Chopped Pecans

  • * 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • * 11⁄2 cups onions, minced
  • * 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • * 1 tsp ground cumin

  • * 13⁄4 cup organic tinned chickpeas
  • 1 1⁄2 Tbsp tahini
  • * 1⁄4 cup parsley, finely chopped
  • * 1/3 cup chick pea flour

  • 1 cup of ground hazelnuts (a coffee grinder is the best way of grinding the nuts)

Raw Lime Cake Recipe - vegan and gluten free

This is a delicious, healthy, dinner party dessert for anyone and easy to make. Vegan and gluten free; for those who are on an anti-candida or no sugar diet, liquid stevia can be substituted for agave nectar. If omitting the dates then add an additional half mug of almonds or pecans and sweeten with a tablespoon of xylitol or 6 drops of liquid stevia.

This is a soft stew and ideal for anyone with gut issues, such as inflammatory conditions - diverticulitis, gastritis, coeliac disease, IBS-D, ME, candida, post gallbladder/appendix operations. CBD Hemp Oil

One of the compounds of cannabis is Cannabidiol or CBD. There are a number of medicinal uses for CBD oil (see below). People are more open to the medical benefits of CBD, especially now that it can be separated from the THC, known for its psychoactive effects.
